Your escape begins with a vibrant drive away from the city, traversing the sculpted green slopes of the Kigezi region, famous as the 'Switzerland of Africa.' As the mist descends and the air turns crisp, you will enter the perimeter of Bwindi, the historic sanctuary where the silverbacks dwell in peace.

The Primate Walk & Batwa Culture

The heart of the quest. Hike through the primitive jungle to spend sixty minutes with a silverback’s family—a life-altering moment of kinship with our brothers of the wild. Later, turn your attention to human history as you follow the Batwa through the undergrowth, discovering how these 'Keepers of the Forest' thrived in the canopy for thousands of years.
